The development, manufacture, project management and servicing of onshore wind turbines has been the core competence and passion of the Nordex Group and its more than 8,300 employees worldwide for 35 years. With the acquisition of Acciona Windpower in 2016, the Nordex Group has become a global player and one of the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturers. The Group offers highly efficient and competitive wind turbine systems, which enablelong-term economical power generation from wind energy in all geographical and climatic conditions. At production facilities in Germany, Spain, Brazil, the US and India, the Group produces nacelles, rotor blades, and concrete towers. The company has offices and branches in more than 30 countries. The Nordex Group has been active in the Turkish market since 2009. The subsidairy Nordex Enerji Turkey became the market leader in the wind industry in 2017 and continues to hold this position.The Turkish headquaters are located in the business metropolis of İstanbul in the north-west of the country. The company also has a training centre and a customer service office in İzmir in close proximity to its customers’ numerous wind farms on the west coast of Türkiye. The Nordex Enerji team comprises a total of 334 employees. For projects in Türkiye, locally produced components such as rotor blades, anchor cages, towers, generators and nacelle and tower connection equipment are used in order to enable customers to benefit from local manufactured content.
