18 May 2023 WENERGY – CLEAN ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES EXPO HELD IN İZMİR
WENERGY- Clean Energy Technologies Expo, the most influential and largest clean energy exhibition in Turkey and the region was held in İzmir on 9-11 May 2023. The Expo brought together the industry professionals with the participation of prestigious domestic and foreign companies and the visit of thousands of professional investors and buyers. The exhibition included all sub-titles of renewable energy, especially wind, solar, hydrogen, biomass and geothermal.
Organized simultaneously with the expo and with the support of official institutions, local governments, associations, chambers, non-governmental organizations and companies, the Clean Energy Congress was held. During the Congress 25 sessions on different subjects were held where knowledge and experience shared in which 71 speakers, who are experts in their fields, took part.
The “Green and Blue Transformation in İzmir” panel was held by İzmir Development Agency within the Congress. In the panel, information was given about the works carried out by İzmir Development Agency in the field of green and blue transformation.
In the panel titled “Clean Energy Cluster in İzmir: ENSİA-İZKA” organized by İzenerji within the scope of the expo, information was given about the clean energy cluster in İzmir; the importance of cooperation between academia, civil society, industry and public sector was emphasized.
İzmir, the capital of renewable and clean energy, will continue to host the Clean Energy Expo and Congress in the coming years.
