Bernhard Krone Holding operates through its subsidiaries, Fahrzeugwerk Bernard Krone, Maschinenfabrik Bernard Krone and Landtechnik, Vertrieb and Dienstleistungen Bernhard Krone. The holding was established in 1906 by Bernard Krone in Spelle, Germany and began production of commercial trailers in 1971.
Since 2012 Krone produces trailer at the factory in Tire for the Turkish market and markets around Türkiye. The capacity of the factory amounts to an annual production of 10,000 units; the total investment of more than EUR 40 million. The Krone site in Tire currently employs more than 250 people, who primarily manufacture vehicles of the series Profi Liner and Mega Liner.
