03 Sep 2021 FAVORITE CITY OF GAME INDUSTRY INVESTORS IN TURKEY, İZMİR WILL HOST ONE OF THE BIGGEST GAME FESTIVALS IN EUROPE
One of the favorite cities of game industry investors in Türkiye, İzmir will host one of the biggest game festivals in Europe and the Middle East in September. “İzmir Game Festival” will be held between 24-25-26 September 2021, will offer a wide range of activities from traditional games to e-sports and bring together all sides of the gaming industry like game studios, startups, influencers, and especially gamers. Participation of at least 30,000 people is expected to the event that will be held in İzmir Fair.
While İzmir enters the agenda of the world game industry with the Rovigo – Ruby Games and Miniclip – Masomo acquisitions, the games developed by game studios from İzmir are often being among the most played games in the world.
