Atmosphere Technology Transfer Office (TTO) serves as a simple and effective interface between academia and industry for the commercialization of intellectual capital and new technologies resulting from academic studies. Atmosphere TTO was established in 2014 within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1513 TTO Support Program on behalf of İzmir Institute of Technology, within the body of Teknopark İzmir located on the same campus.
With its expert team;
– Providing consultancy services regarding national and international support programs (such as TÜBİTAK’s national such as TEYDEB, KOSGEB, İZKA and international such as Horizon 2020, EUREKA, COST), following the calls regarding these projects and announcing them to the relevant academics and industrialists, project-specific workshops for academicians and organizing training,
– Ensuring the strengthening of relations through activities such as promotion and information events, symposiums, company visits and invitations of companies to universities, in cooperation with the University and Industry, and taking an active role in the business development and execution of R&D projects to be realized with possible cooperation,
– Providing consultancy to academicians and researchers regarding the acquisition and management of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights (IPR) of intellectual capital, taking a role in the management of IPR contracts,
– To provide entrepreneurship training for technology and R&D-oriented enterprises, to identify Start-Up candidates, to provide incorporation and business consultancy to young entrepreneurs and academicians within the scope of incubation center service, the main aims of the Atmosphere TTO.
