Founded in 1952 as a family-run forge for ball races, JOST has developed into an internationally active company in the manufacture and supply of safety-relevant products for commercial vehicles. JOST is the world market leader for fifth wheel couplings and landing gears and is not only well-known to customers, but also favoured by them due to its high quality standards. Located in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt am Main, the company has more than 30 production and sales points on all continents worldwide and currently employs more than 3,000 people in 124 different professions in Germany alone. It has also been traded on the stock market since 2017.
