The firm has been actively serving in the renewable energy consultancy sector in Türkiye since the early 2000s with the GL Garrad Hassan brand. In 2007, a local office was opened in Türkiye and started to serve its customers through this office. The office, which was initially used for business development, has planned its technical structuring in parallel with the rapid development of the sector and the need for a local technical team, and has started to serve the sector with international and local experts.
During this period, the company focused on wind energy consultancy activities in parallel with the development of the sector. However, in order to meet the technical consultancy needs in the sector as a result of the regulations made in the field of solar energy, the technical team within the company; It was expanded locally in 2013 and services started in this area as well.
