Adnan Menderes Airport is an international airport serving İzmir, Türkiye. It is within the borders of the Gaziemir and Menderes districts, 14 km south of the city center. The owner of the airport is the State Airports Authority, while the operator is TAV Airports.
Hosting 12.365.256 passengers and 83.585 aircraft traffic in 2019, Adnan Menderes Airport is the fifth busiest airport in the country. In terms of cargo traffic, it ranks third among airports in the country with 16.915 tons.
Adnan Menderes Airport is built on an area of 8.230.945 square meters at an altitude of 125 meters. According to the classification made by the International Civil Aviation Organization, it is at the CAT-II level. With a closed area of approximately 310,000 square meters, it is the third-largest airport in the country after İstanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
