US$ 100 Million Data Center Investment in İzmir

Vodafone Türkiye and UAE firm Damac have joined forces to establish a data center in İzmir.

Vodafone Türkiye will make a data center investment of 100 million dollars in İzmir with a 50-50 partnership with Edgnex Data Centres by DAMAC. The center will become operational in the first quarter of 2025 and will serve institutions and organizations.

The Vodafone İzmir Data Center will start its operations with data transportation and hosting services. The center will reach a capacity of up to 6 megawatts and meet Tier 3 standards so it will become one of Vodafone’s largest capacity data centers in the Aegean Region. Thus, the number of

Vodafone’s data centers in Türkiye’s metropolitan cities will reach 6 and the white area size will reach 13.500 square meters.
