20 Mar 2023 GERMAN PRESS DELEGATION EXPLORED THE INVESTMENT CLIMATE OF CLEAN ENERGY SECTOR IN İZMİR
As part of the German Press Delegation Trip organized by the Investment Office of Türkiye, with the participation of journalists and reporters from Germany who are experts in the fields of economy, energy, and sustainability; visits and meetings were held in İzmir. As part of the delegation’s program, wind power plants and plants producing wind turbine components such as wind turbine towers, generators, and blades were visited in İzmir, the clean energy and clean technology hub of Türkiye.
During the “Invest in İzmir” presentation made by the İzmir Development Agency to the delegation, members were provided with information about İzmir’s investment environment in the clean energy and cleantech sector, as well as its economic growth level, strategic location, logistics infrastructure, investment area, young and dynamic workforce, high quality of life, regional R&D and innovation ecosystem, and existing foreign investments.
