fDi Intelligence has released its latest report “European Cities and Regions of the Future 2022/2023”, which benchmarks the most promising investment destinations across Europe. The study has shown İzmir as one of the attractive European locations of the future in terms of investments. In the study, İzmir is among the top 10 large cities and regions in Europe in the categories of Business-Friendliness and Cost-Effectiveness.
Also, İzmir Development Agency’s foreign direct investment (FDI) strategy focused on clean energy & clean technologies and software & IT services sectors has made İzmir one of the top 10 large cities with the best FDI Strategy in the study.
