15 Sep 2021 LEADING GLOBAL PRODUCER OF INDUSTRIAL ICE PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT, DENMARK BASED GRAM EQUIPMENT OPENED ITS NEW FACILITY IN İZMİR
Denmark-based Gram Equipment company, which is the strongest player in the market in the production of ice cream mass-production machines, opened its new facility in the Aegean Free Zone in İzmir. Gram Equipment, which is the leader in its sector with its 34% share in the global market, aims to grow by 45% at the end of the year with the new facility put into service with an investment of 1 million USD. With the new facility covers a total area of 6,844 square meters, the number of employees of the company increased to 110 people.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Gram Equipment Executive Board Chairman Tom Wrensted stated that the world’s leading ice cream production companies are their customers. Emphasizing that the company showed the best performance in its history in 2020, Wrensted said, “We will break another record in 2021. We have had a strong performance in the last 2 years as a group. We are all proud of it. We have come a long way, we have had a successful journey. Türkiye played a major role in increasing the business volume of our group.”
Özgür Seyhan, General Manager of Gram Equipment Türkiye, stated that they aim to grow at an annual rate of 45% by the end of 2021.
