The company, which has reached 22 offices in 18 countries on 3 continents, develops many of its projects in İzmir and exports them to the world today. Emakina’s current agenda is to increase the number of employees in İzmir from 300 to 500.
Emakina was founded in 2001 and is based in Brussels, Belgium. Reaching 22 offices in 18 countries on 3 continents in 20 years, Emakina entered the Türkiye market in 2006 and opened its İzmir office. Emakina, which prefers İzmir due to its qualified workforce, has signed many global projects and develops its software from İzmir since its opening in İzmir. Emakina’s technology exports from İzmir to the whole world continue uninterruptedly and growing. The company, which continues its activities in the Aegean Free Zone in İzmir, also has an office in İzmir Bayraklı. The İzmir branch has a special place among the 22 offices of Emakina and it is the biggest production center. While the total number of group employees is 1,500, 300 of them work in the İzmir office.
Emakina Türkiye General Manager Semih Turgut states that they have established good cooperation with the universities in İzmir and that most of their employees have graduated from universities in İzmir.
