Türkiye ranks fourth in the world in terms of geothermal installed capacity. Türkiye is one of the leading countries not only in the utilisation of geothermal energy for power generation, but even more so for the direct use of geothermal for district heating, heating of greenhouses, bathing and SPA facilities. We currently have 1,7 GW of production capacity. Our potential in geothermal is 60 GW.
