2035 Road Map in Renewable Energy Announced

Türkiye’s 2035 road map in the field of renewable energy was announced at a launch meeting organized by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.

According to the road map, the current installed capacity of 30 thousand MW in solar and wind is aimed to be increased fourfold to 120 thousand MW by 2035.

In order to achieve this goal, at least 2 thousand MW YEKA tenders will be held every year and regulations facilitating the permit processes of investors will be implemented.

The announced road map is expected to positively affect the equipment production industry clustered in our region by paving the way for new investments in the sector.
