04 Jan 2023 OFFSHORE WIND AND FLOATING SOLAR ENERGY WORKSHOP HELD IN İZMİR
With the cooperation of İzmir Development Agency, METU Civil Engineering Department and Durham University the first clean energy event of 2023 named “Offshore Wind and Floating Solar Energy Workshop”, was held in İzmir. In the workshop, information and experience were shared about the studies carried out by the relevant institutions and organizations on offshore wind energy and floating solar energy, and the studies planned to be implemented in the next period. Within the scope of the workshop; while discussing the renewable energy installed capacity targets announced by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, projects that can be developed with the cooperation of industry and academia were put on the table.
