İzmir Port or Alsancak Port is a freight and passenger port in İzmir, Türkiye, located east of İzmir Bay. It is the country’s seventh largest port in terms of container volume and thirteenth in terms of cargo tonnage.
The port has been operational since 1959. The area of İzmir Port is 902,000 square meters.
A rehabilitation project will be carried out in İzmir Bay so that larger ships can use the port.
