Gühring started its activities in Türkiye in 1988 as a branch of Guhring oHG Germany. Between 1988-2000, Gühring offered its imports from Germany to its customers in Türkiye. In June 2000, Gühring started to manufacture and resharpen carbide tools in Türkiye under the license of Germany.
In July 2001, the state-of-the-art coating plant started operating. Production capacity and employment were increased with the investments made in 2002-2004.
In 2008, a production and coating facility was established in İzmir. It still continues production with 6 CNC machines with 5 axes, grinding and sharpening benches.
